CIT, JAIPUR - THE HOME OF HERO MOTOSPORTS

The Hero Global Centre of Innovation and Technology, popularly known as “CIT”, is the birthplace and Home of Hero MotoSports. It was at CIT, that the idea of MotoSports first germinated in 2016. Since then, it continues to serve as the headquarters of Hero MotoSports and houses all the management functions and engineering support for MotoSports. Besides development and race operations, CIT also serves as the incubation and training centre for developing in-house racing talent from within and outside the Hero MotoCorp group.

The sprawling campus of CIT, apart from boasting of a world-class infrastructure, is also a one-of-its-kind facility, housing all aspects of Research and Development under one roof: including self-sufficient facilities for New Product Design, Prototype manufacturing, Testing and Validation. The CIT also boasts of world-class test-tracks; within the campus that are used for testing new products as well as for race training. The 16 kilometre-long tracks have 45 different surfaces to simulate real world road conditions, both Indian and global, including off-road test tracks.

Rich in diversity, the CIT brings together a multi-national group of over 1,600 automotive experts, world class infrastructure and talent pool, creating an environment of engineering excellence to 'Innovate in India', not just for the country but for the world.

True to Hero’s commitment to creating a sustainable future, the CIT has advanced green technologies imbibed into its design, ensuring eco-friendly operations. Testament of these efforts is the Platinum rating granted to the Centre by Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) with a rating of 91 points, making it the highest rated facility among the manufacturing sector in India. Designed by international Architects & Design consortium, the CIT maintains HMCL’s highest ecological standards.
