The 2024 edition of Rallye du Maroc was the ultimate proving ground for Hero MotoSports, and what a race it turned out to be! We finished this 5th and final round of the FIM World Rally-Raid Championship 2024 at the TOP!

Spanning six intense days and nearly 2,500 km across Morocco’s untamed terrain—through the Sahara’s relentless dunes and unforgiving rocky trails—Hero MotoSports’ journey to glory unfolded. Unexpected rains and floods washed away large portions of the route, making the ultimate test before the Dakar even more treacherous. Accidents and injury forced several competitors to retire midway, including our own Sebastian Bühler in Stage 2.

Yet, in the face of adversity, our Heroes Ross Branch and Nacho Cornejo determined to bring home the coveted crown. The ‘Kalahari Ferrari’ powered through every challenge, and claimed the ultimate victory: sealing his formidable place as the new WORLD CHAMPION, also delivering Hero MotoSports our first-ever FIM World title!

Backed by an incredible team spirit and Nacho's unwavering support at Morocco, Ross's consistency throughout the season culminated in this crowning moment. With this victory, Hero MotoSports broke KTM’s 11 year streak at the World Championship, also becoming the first Indian manufacturer in history to win the prestigious title!
