Family passion, and once I tried it I fell in love with the desert.

EXPERIENCE
In the rally itself, I think making it to the factory teams is something I always dreamed of when I was growing up, and achieving that was pretty memorable to me. And an extra, I would say get to know and travel to some cool places because of being a rally racer, like Iceland, the Himalayas, and many other cool spots in the world.
MOST CHALLENGING
EXPERIENCE
I would say Dakar Rally 2017 and 2018 were pretty challenging, tested us riders in many different ways, and some days were very extreme.
PRE-RACE
RITUAL
I have a specific set of movements and exercises to activate before every stage.
BEST PART OF THE JOB
The riding, of course, but also get to know many different places and cultures and be able to make friends all over the world.
SIDE HUSTLE
Sometimes I make motivational and safety speeches in the mining companies in Chile. And every once in a while some marketing/activation campaigns with brands outside the racing world.
